It's been a while, ne?

It has. About a year and a half, or something like that.

My attitude has changed a lot.

The only thing that hasn't changed is my failure at drawing.

I can never take an amazing idea from my mind, and then try to draw it out and express it.

It always ends up failing.

I really need to take art classes, but my parents are maing me take Soccer Camps and shit like that.

I'm in AP Art for Senior year. Only thing is, I don't know if I'm going to be drawing at all for my portfolio, even though I've chosen to have 2D as my genre.

Anyone want to help me out?

Well if I remember correctly, the portfolio is based on a theme with three different split subjects ( I beleive) ? One of which has to follow with your based theme. Like for example for a portfolio theme, someone in my class did expression of everyday life with statues. I hope this is making sense. As suggestion, you should do some figure drawings. People love to see you are studying the human body from a book and online tutorials help a lot. Stills lifes are pretty good for a portfolio. I do wish you the best of luck with your soccer and AP art, you are a really talented girl.
